Hawaiian poke
- No dairy
A rice base, tuna in a Hawaiian marinade, kale, Japanese onion, red onion, black and white sesame seeds and lotus root crisps.
The poke was originally a dish eaten by native Hawaiian fishermen. It consisted of a rice base, raw marinated fish and, later on, some vegetables. Its current form became popular in the United States in the 1970s when a wider range of ingredients, including oriental products, were added.
With our Hawaiian poke, we wanted to capture the fusion between the original and oriental versions by adding products such as sesame seeds and lotus root to the traditional base. Try it, enjoy it! Aloha!
